On Tuesday 20th June our year six children travelled with Burton Bradstock Primary School and Thorners Primary School to Salisbury Cathedral for a diocese year six leavers service.
He told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.
The Seals had lovely a day out on Tuesday 20th to Washingpool Farm. Here’s 6 year old Evelyn’s account of the day:
“On Tuesday we all went to Washingpool Farm. When the coach was arriving I was really happy because I like it there. Next we met Vicky and she took us into the classroom and told us all about the existing animals. Then we went outside to wash our hands to have our yummy snacks.
Next, we went to see two dirty pigs; one was called Issie and the other was called Flora. Then we went to seen the chickens who all had a funny hair do.
Then we went to see all the well grown vegetables in the garden. Then we had lunch and it was delicious. Next we all went on a big walk and drew some plants.
Finally we went back to the bus and left. ”
