At Loders CE VC Primary School we uphold and teach pupils about the British Values as directed under new Ofsted guidance, September 2014.
Democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths are taught explicitly through PSCHE and RE. We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
As a CE VC school, we base our values on the understanding of the Christian faith. Our core values are embedded into everyday life at Loders and we celebrate those that are shared with other cultures and faiths.
We believe that children learn values from their personal relationships and experiences, from the examples set by parents, other adults and teachers and their relationships with each other..
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love is the value that all of the others are based upon and therefore is our main core value.
